  Maintenance Guide: Stainless Steel Sinks

  Stainless steel is a highly durable material, but it does require proper care. This metal alloy is specifically designed to resist stains, yet its ability to maintain its protective layer depends on regular upkeep. If the surface is left wet or exposed to food particles or other contaminants, stains and discoloration may occur. With diligent maintenance, your sink can retain its charm and functionality for a lifetime.

  • Always rinse the sink thoroughly after each use.
  • Avoid leaving food, cleaners, or any residue to dry on the sink's surface.
  • As water flows, use a clean cloth or paper towel to wipe the sink—simply spraying water isn’t enough to remove all deposits or residue.

  Weekly Cleaning Recommendations:

  • Clean the sink with a mild detergent or an ultra-mild abrasive cleaner, such as Soft Scrub® or Bar Keepers Friend®. These products are readily available at most grocery and hardware stores.
  • Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for these cleaners and scrub in the direction of the grain or finish marks to prevent damage.

  INOX SINK WARRANTY
  (United States, Canada, and Latin America)

  Inox warrants its sink products against manufacturing defects in material and workmanship when purchased from Inox or an Inox Authorized Retailer, subject to the product-specific warranties detailed herein (each a "Warranty" and collectively the "Warranties"). This Warranty applies only when the product is properly installed in accordance with Inox installation instructions, remains in its original installation location, and is used in normal indoor residential kitchen applications.

  This Warranty is limited to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. Any Inox product or component that has been modified, altered, or improperly installed will void this Warranty. This Warranty does not apply to discontinued or obsolete products, products purchased from unauthorized retailers, or display models.

  All concerns regarding installed products are considered warranty claims and are not covered under Inox’s standard return policy. Inox reserves the right to inspect any product claimed to be defective, including the original installation site, prior to authorizing any replacement or repair. All determinations made by Inox under this Warranty are final. Under no circumstances shall Inox's liability exceed the original purchase price of the product.

  Exclusions from Warranty Coverage
  This Warranty does not cover:

  • Damage due to misuse, abuse, or accidental impacts;
  • Normal wear such as scratches, scuffs, or finish discoloration;
  • Improper installation or use outside standard residential applications;
  • Damage from improper cleaning, maintenance, or use of corrosive chemicals;
  • Issues caused by impurities in water supply or acts of nature.

  This Warranty also does not cover labor, shipping, removal, disposal, or reinstallation costs associated with the replacement of a product or component. Replacement products may not be exact matches and will be substituted with items of similar material, design, and value, at Inox’s discretion.

  Limitations of Liability
  Inox shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including, but not limited to, loss of use, project delays, property damage, or lost profits arising from the use of or inability to use the product. This Warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Any implied warranty of merchantability;
  • Any implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose;
  • Any warranty of non-infringement of third-party rights.
